BEST STUDENT EVENT AWARD
NATIONAL OUTDOOR EVENTS ASSOCIATION
The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday 26th November 2025 at the Pump House in Bath.
Alistair was shortlisted for the Best Student Event Award in recognition of his leadership and contribution to the success and growth of the Meadows Marathon through his role as Coordinator and member of the ESCA Board of Trustees. One nomination noted:
“Alistair played an integral role in the success and growth of Meadows Marathon in the past couple of years through his role as coordinator and member of ESCA board of trustees. His passion for his community is admirable as he has also successfully managed his own Events Society at HWU and has taken part in countless charitable events, notably Pride events, highlighting his desire for raising awareness and fighting for an inclusive community. I could not think of anyone more deserving of this award."

"The Diamond Award is the highest level of recognition in the Volunteer Hours Awards. It’s given to volunteers who have dedicated 500 hours of their time and demonstrated seven employability skills across different categories — a real mark of long-term commitment and impact."
